The Village of Mbansam
The village of Mbansam and surrounding villages have a long history of producing pure, organic coffee. Alida Misimi’s great-grandfather owned a coffee farm that has been passed down through generations. Over a century later, the family farm is still active and well-known in the region.

Our main focus is on the people of Mbansam and associated areas by elevating their quality of life. However, improving their lives brings an exciting return on our investment. Their successful harvest means we can market a delicious, quality product and deliver it to consumers in the US and markets around the world.
I am not ashamed to admit that I am illiterate, I dropped out of school when I was in second grade. Both of my parents died of Tuberculosis and yellow fever, I had nobody to turn to. Today I am 34 years old with 4 children. Mbansam Coffee has taught me lot, it has empowered me to speak up, to count, and to read. I have more hope now than I ever had in my entire life.”
